There's lots of music that uses notes from pentatonic scales, so you can jam along to a piece of music without having to learn the whole tune. I've got a pentatonic scale open in front of me, and you might notice that there are six notes on the screen, not five. That's because note one at the bottom and note six at the top are the same. They're just low and high versions of each other. So using this simplified version of the scale with five notes instead of eight, it makes it more accessible. So I've got this sound on at the moment, but you might want to change it to something else. Pieces like Elvis's 'Heartbreak Hotel', Wham! 'Wake Me Up' and even Taylor Swift 'All Too Well' are in C Major, which means you can play them along with this pentatonic scale. So here's an example of jamming along to a very well known song that you're gonna recognize as soon as we hit play. [WHAM! - Wake Me Up Before You Go Go] can be heard on the radio, and is accompanied by the player on he Clarion. So there's an example of how you can play along to anything. There's no right or wrong way to jam along using a pentatonic scale. Some pieces of music might sound a bit funny, and you might need some trial and error to find one that works really well with your favorite tune.
